About Me

Hey, I’m Jeremy—an urban gardener and homesteader based in Zone 6B, Ohio. I started  gardening back in 2011, fueled by a curiosity for growing my own food and living more sustainably. Fast forward to 2021, I began sharing my garden projects on social media to show people you can have a successful garden with the resources around you and some creativity. I had no idea my social media channels would turn into an engaging community of growers.

I looked around and noticed there weren’t any brands producing gardening or homesteading merch that appealed to me so I combined my love for punk rock and graphic design and created Dirty Punk Gardening. My wife and I own and operate a print shop so it was natural for us to use our skills and resources to create something we were looking for.

My influences and inspiration come from art, skateboarding, and my love for punk rock and hip hop music. As my following grew, I realized there were a lot of people in the homesteading and gardening community with similar interests looking for something outside of a polished, little house on the prairie aesthetic that is most commonly associated with it.
